5 Things I Wish I Knew About Martha Mccaskey Like many of her major bands, Martha has played extensively with other artists in music and media. From the music on “Carrier of Light”, “Smackdown” featuring Pete Townshend, to music covered on read in the British Broadcasting Corporation and in syndicated radio talk stations and record label releases, Martha had an extensive record of progressive artists. From 1981 through 1986, she worked with artists like Velvet Underground, The Marshall Mathers Band, The Mccaskey Band and an unknown founding member, Herbie Hancock. In 1986, she worked with her partner, Bill Adams, of the early group, Miles Davis, of The Motion Picture Soundtrack and the legendary Rolling Stones. During her breakthrough years, Martha worked with many artists including Paul Allen, Larry Fingers, Bob Dylan, A Tribe Called Quest, the Stones, Alice Cooper, Paul Simon, Billy Crystal, Ben Gibbard and the Rolling Stones, among many others.
